Our South American Roses are grown in the hot, tropical climates along the equator. These so-called "jungle roses" are especially large and hardy. South American Roses are favored for their giant size and long thick stems. Most South American Roses are from Ecuador or Columbia. South American roses are imported by air but their durability can easily withstand travel and man-handling by amateur floral arrangers.  


We are confident that our roses with their large heads and rich color will make the focal point of any romantic or formal arrangement!

We recommend your order to be delivered 2-3 days before the event to allow your flowers to hydrate and bloom. (Wednesday or Thursday delivery for a Saturday Wedding).

Care instructions for Roses
These flowers may appear to be "wilted" when you first receive them. This is NATURAL, as they have been without water for over 24 hrs and are thirsty. Just allow time for your flowers to revitalize (up to several hours) to enjoy the full splendor of your product.

  • Carefully remove the lower leaves and thorns -- try not to damage the stems.
  • Recut the stems with a sharp, clean knife or pruning shears.
  • Place roses in clean, warm water (105 degrees F/40 degrees C) with floral
    preservative.
  • Avoid placing the flowers in an area where they might receive excess heat orother extreme conditions. This will help them last longer.


Special Instructions for Roses:
To maximize the life and beauty of your roses, it is IMPORTANT to follow the previous care tips as well as remove the first layer of protective guard petals. They are not a sign of damaged or old flowers. These petals were left on to protect your roses during shipping.

We recommend that you request your order to be delivered 3 days before the event to allow your flowers to hydrate and bloom.

Although your order takes several days to process, we suggest you place the order from 10 to 45 days in advance. Since flowers are perishable and affected by weather, please have someone be present to receive the flowers between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This will make sure that your flowers are not left at the doorstep or sent back for next day delivery.
